|
*prices subject to change without notice. Always email to check with me. How do I get in contact with you? WintersNatalie AT gmail DOT com or mandy AT mandyroth DOT com Why do you do cover art under a pen name? Because I like keeping art separate from my writing. Though, I'm in the process of switching everything over the the Mandy M. Roth name. Where do you get the photos you use in your covers? They're stock photos that I purchase. When possible, I'll link to the photographer. * Some are pictures I've taken myself. Some I've painted from scratch. Just depends. Do you have any other sites? Yes. My author page Mandy M Roth. Also, another gallery for Natalie works. Do you design websites for authors as well? I do when time permits. Additional information and pricing is found here Galley and Pricing. I strongly suggest you take a look at aha4creative.com The woman who owns it is amazingly talented and websites are her specialty.
To view more covers please visit the cover galleries. Also, if you have any questions, please stop past my FAQs page. Thanks, Mandy |
What made you decide to start doing covers? Actually, I've been in art since high school. The real question would be how did I end up writing. I have a vocational commercial art degree, an associates in art, a BS degree. Prior to writing full-time, I was a marketing director. I've also worked for a newspaper (doing mock ups... hey, everyone has to start somewhere), a label company, I've taught computers grades K-8 and a lot of other art related jobs that I won't blabber on about. Do you do custom covers? Yep. I sure do. I do freelance work for Samhain Publishing, Loose ID, Total E-Bound, Sapphire Blue Publishing, Forbidden Passions and more on a project by project basis and side projects (bookmarks, biz cards, display boards, websites) for other authors. All you have to do is contact me and we can discuss it. How much do you charge to make a custom cover? Depends. Email me and we can discuss it (normally falls between $350-$650 per cover). If you want this price you must lock in with a deposit. Do you do ad creation as well? Yes. My hourly rate is $100 an hour. These normally take a min of 2 hours but can go longer depending on the ad in question. I am able to design for both online and print media. Whatever you need. What type of payments do you accept? Paypal only (though you can pay with a CC through paypal) A nonrefundable $250 deposit is due upfront, the rest is payable upon approval of the comp and prior to final high res being sent to you. I bought a cover from you. Can I make my own banner or bookmarks with it? Once purchased, you are free to use the image in any way you wish provided its for advertising purposes. Did you really do a cover(s) for bestselling author and agent extraordinaire Deidre Knight? LOL. Yes! I did. You can see them on her page. I noticed that you have a lot of book videos on your author site. Do you make those for people too? Cover art and writing keeps me pretty busy. Be sure to check out Scrap Fairy Design and COS
