All I can do is thank her for the flattering comments she made about my book. I was prompted to write Barbarian Prize after visiting Pompeii. It is one of the most fascinating places I've ever visited. It has paved streets, shops, houses and amazing Roman architecture. When you walk along its streets you feel as if you could so easily step back in time. Mandy is a delightful, charming and very generous lady.
