It took me long enough but….

Posted by Mandy M. Roth on Apr 5, 2008 in Day in the Life |

I finally got around to getting a cell phone that was made sometime in this decade. Just kidding. I’m not that bad but I was close. Considering how cheap I am, it was a hard thing for me to do. After some thought, I ended up going with a Treo Palm smartphone. Unfortunately for me, I’m clearly not smart enough to work it. It took me most of the day to figure out I couldn’t hear someone talking because the bluetooth was on and I wasn’t wearing it.

Uh, yes, people… I am that cell phone challenged.

I’m all ears if anyone has one and has pointers for me.

I’ve learned to just turn over the darn things to my kids, they have me hooked up and ready to go in minutes, where it would take me hours just to understand the directions!

Oooh, I have smartphone envy. When I tried to explain to my husband I could have a phone that has internet, email, music, pictures, calendars and more, he pointed out I have a laptop, a Palm TX, an mp3 player, a digital camera and about 16 calendars, none of which I look at.

He just doesn’t get it.

I miss my greenscreen cell phone, lol. The ring actually sounded like a telephone. My current one is more like the chicken dance and I’m too lazy to change it.

:silly:
