My youngest begged me to make him caramel apples for today. Here is my try at it. Stop laughing.

Unwrapping a trillion little candies sounded much better in my head than it played out in real life.

And, yes, that pan is STILL soaking.

Finished product. those are tiny bat candy sprinkles.

My brother, his wife, their little ones, my mom and step dad are all headed over because trick-or-trick is starting here at 5 pm and we’re making it a family fun night so I’m off to get the youngest two all ready to go. I’m going to pay the oldest one to walk them around. LOL.

I’m kind of new to Brendan James but I have to say, he’s growing on me fast. He’s obviously very talented. Okay, then there is the other obvious factor– he’s a hottie.

On a side note, I heard this song and was somewhere minus a way to jot down his name. I get home to put his name in Amazon to buy his mp3s and can’t for the life of me remember his name. I’m like— hmm, James something or something James.

Anyone who knows me is cracking up laughing at the fact I forgot his first name. I mean really… how the hell do I of all people forget that.

Love the cover of the song… wasn’t really lovin’ on the movie it appeared in though. Don’t get me wrong, the movie had its finer moments like when Angus Sutherland appeared. I pretty much think he can just stare at a camera and it will work for me.

I know you’ve been seeing a lot of covers posted by me and not much in the way of updates  as far as writing is concerned. I swear to you that I am writing. In fact, I’m getting more writing done than I have in a very long time. I think it has something to do with the art sparkin’ the old creative juices.

I’m within 5k of having my current writing project completed. I’m excited about that. Its a book a lot of you have been emailing me about. I really love these characters and am kind of sad to be ending their story.

I expect to have the last 5k done within the next day or so and then I’ll ask my proofers to peek through it before sending it off to my editor. From there, I’ll pick up on another project nearing completion. Its another book I’ve been emailed about and can’t wait to get it out there for all of you. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Michelle and I shipped a joint into EC and should hear back in the month or so in regards to it. We’re excited about that.

In addition to all of this, I’ve picked up a few new publishers that I’ll be doing cover art for. I’m excited about that was well and will continue to try to make a point to post some of them.

I’ll get going on updating my coming soon page to keep you posted on what’s up next for me.

Strange story

Here is one of newest covers! I really loved getting to work on this one. It releases from Sapphire Blue Publishing towards the end of this month! Can’t wait to read it.
