An Apple A Day…

My youngest begged me to make him caramel apples for today. Here is my try at it. Stop laughing.

Unwrapping a trillion little candies sounded much better in my head than it played out in real life.

And, yes, that pan is STILL soaking.

Finished product. those are tiny bat candy sprinkles.

 

My brother, his wife, their little ones, my mom and step dad are all headed over because trick-or-trick is starting here at 5 pm and we’re making it a family fun night so I’m off to get the youngest two all ready to go. I’m going to pay the oldest one to walk them around. LOL.

One of my favorite childhood memories is making caramel apples with my mama. Those look delish! I bet y’all had FUN!

We had a lot of fun making them. I had a little less fun cleaning up the mess. LOL

Try freezing the pan. It should make the sticky stuff shrink and help with removal.
