Welcome to my new hijacked blog. *looking around, kicking a few buttons, snuggling in to the command center* I’m wondering how long it will take Mandy to notice I took over, lol.
I told Mandy not to leave me alone with nothing to do while she watched a movie. She knows I can’t control myself–especially now that I don’t have a cell phone to randomly text the people in my phone book. What’s even sadder, apparently the cell phone in the washing machine is a large enough group, we even have our own support site.

Anyway, I thought I’d post some pics of Mandy and Michelle. Here we are giving a concert.

Isn’t Mandy’s hair the stuff dreams are made of? *sigh* Did you know she just wakes up like that? Red dress and everything. It’s true. And a little scary.
I wasn’t as glamorous. But, I sang my heart out.

And, well, to tell the truth–The reason I wasn’t all glammed up and pretty was because I was up late doing housework and studying and walking the dog and working toward world peace and saving lives and washing cell phones …
What? Why are you looking at me weird? I swear. It’ s all true. It’s not like I was hanging out with some guy or anythin… Oh.

Oh, yeah. Well, I thought about doing all that other stuff. Erm, well, anyway…
*waving shiny object*
CONTEST TIME!!!
Play for your chance to win Winners Choice of one of Michelle’s Ebook Backlist and one of Mandy’s Ebook Backlist. I’ll draw a winner… um, later when I feel we have a lot of entries or Mandy finally figures out her new password.
TO ENTER:
We’re playing 6 Degrees of ____!
FIRST POSTER: Tell me what movie the three people pictures above are from. Post the answer on this blog.
NEXT POSTERS: Post a FEMALE leading character’s real name from that movie and match them to another actress in another movie. (See Comment 3 for and Example)
THE CATCH: No Actress Name Repeats. No Movie Repeats. You can post more than once, but never more than one time in a row.
(erm, in other words, no playing with yourselves–there’s other adult groups for that, lol)
HAVE FUN!!!
Is coming to take you away… Sorry, couldn’t resist myself.
The name of the game is the peppermint twist… okay, really, I’ll stop now and get on with the regularly scheduled programming.
All this week, I’m blog touring with some pretty fan-f-ing-tastic authors! We’re asking each others questions and want all of you to play along. We ask a question on our blog. You answer it in our comments section and you’re entered to win a prize! At the end of the week, I’ll select a winner from those of you who have commented! Don’t forget to visit each of the other authors’ blogs (click their name and it will take you straight there) to answer their question as well for even more chances to win!
My question:
If you had to enter a competition for the "Most Uselessly Unique Talent," what would your talent be?
My answer: I can mimic the voices of the cast of The Wizard of Oz movie from the scene where you meet Glenda the Good Witch– Come Out, Come Out song right up Dorothy meeting the scarecrow. I’ve never been able to perfect the scarecrows voice. Clearly, I had too much time on my hands as a child and missed my calling as the front man for an all munchkin rock band.
Megan Hart: My most uselessly unique talent is: After drinking lemonade, I can drop spit in a runner from my mouth and suck it back up. Gross AND useless!
Joey W. Hill – I can screw up almost any computer-related gadget I touch in such a way that it will stump computer geniuses. My husband (who is a computer genius), assures me of this constantly. Usually as he’s rebooting for the tenth time and muttering vile curses beneath his breath.
Anya Bast: I can make up songs about anything, I mean anything…and I quite frequently do, much to my husband’s dismay. I use the melodies to well known songs like the theme from The Empire Strikes Back, for example, or Rigoletto, but I make up my own words. Heh.
Patrice Michelle: I can fold and roll my tongue all kinds of funky ways.
Lauren Dane: I’m utterly lame, I have no real talents. I can do a great Irish accent. Once Megan and I pretended to be Irish for two days in Las Vegas (much to Anya’s annoyance I’m sure). But it’s not unique!
Jaci Burton: I have a completely unique memory for useless old Hollywood trivia like where Bing Crosby is buried or what John Wayne’s real name is. Though it can be helpful in games like Trivial Pursuit or when my husband does the crossword puzzle.
(Its a super secret LOL)
~ * * * * *~
My prize– winner to be picked on Friday from those who have commented on this post this week– is a $20.00 Gift Certificate for Amazon.com (If I pick you and you don’t get back to me within 14 days, I’m selecting someone else)

I often imagine writers out there who sit at their desks surrounded with calm and quiet as they work diligently away on their stories. That is so not my life.
