How do I get in contact with you? WintersNatalie AT gmail DOT com Why do you do cover art under a pen name? Because I like keeping art separate from my writing. Where do you get the photos you use in your covers? They're stock photos. When possible, I'll link to the photographer. * Do you have any other sites? Yes. My author page Mandy M Roth. Also, another gallery for Natalie works. Who is Jane Smith and why do you have so many covers for her? She's just a name I used to "show" what the cover looks like with a title (also made up) and author name on it. Do you design bookmarks? Yes, I do bookmarks, business cards, display boards, postcards and a whole bunch of other stuff I won't bore you with. Contact me for details. Why do you sell your covers for so cheap? Because I'm an author too and I know how much we do and don't make. I know what its like to do things on a tight budget and I also know that quality artwork can make or break sales. Plus, I have high hopes that the authors I help will link back to my site. It helps spread the word about my artwork and also about my books. Its a case of us all trying to go in the same direction and its really great to be able to lend a hand where I can. What made you decide to start doing covers? Actually, I've been in art since high school. The real question would be how did I end up writing. I have a vocational commercial art degree, an associates in art, a BA in marketing/business. Prior to writing full-time, I was a marketing director. I've also worked for a newspaper (doing mock ups... hey, everyone has to start somewhere), a label company, I've taught computers grades K-8 and a lot of other art related jobs that I won't blabber on about. I see a lot of ready made covers for sale here. Do you do custom covers? Yep. I sure do. I do freelance work for Samhain Publishing on a project by project basis and side projects (bookmarks, biz cards, display boards, websites) for other authors. All you have to do is contact me and we can discuss it. How much do you charge to make a custom cover? Depends. Email me and we can discuss it. Also, the ready made ones are always cheaper. Peek around to see if they're anything you like there too. What type of payments do you accept? Paypal only (though you can pay with a CC through paypal) I bought a cover from you. Can I make my own banner or bookmarks with it? Once purchased, you are free to use the image in any way you wish provided its for advertising purposes. Did you really do a cover for bestselling author and agent extraordinaire Deidre Knight? LOL. Yes! I did. You can see it on her page. Its part of her Midnight Warriors series. I noticed that you have a lot of book videos on your author site. Do you make those for people too? Cover art and writing keeps me pretty busy so I haven't made any for anyone quite yet. If you're interested in having one made for a really great price, you could hit my "partner in crime" up and see about hiring her to do one for you.
