It does stand alone very well, but reading both stories will clear up a few things. Ms. Roth is an expert at writing darkly romantic paranormal stories and is a master at creating a slightly sinister and very sensual atmosphere to go with her story. 4.5 Hearts--Whew! There is a LOT going on in this story. I had a difficult time putting it down, and read the whole thing until I was at the end. This isn't a typical love story. Linnea lives hundreds of years in this story, and it isn't just with one person. The relationships are complicated and you sometimes have to sit back and think about what is going on. I really enjoyed the book, and I hope she comes out with another one. The story is written from before the first book, which is kind of unusual. I actually went back and skimmed through the first one (I almost NEVER do that) and was surprised at who was what characters in that. It was almost like they had a total personality change. As you can see, this is a book that will really make you pay attention and possibly go out and buy the first one, Vampire Productions: Book 1, if you haven't gotten it already.--The Romance Studio

I loved this series and want to know if more books are planned for it and when are they coming out?

Thanks! The Valkyrie is a trilogy--Voyagers (book 3) will be releasing in the future.

Future books set within the same world as Daughter of Darkness are planned. In the meantime, if you enjoyed Valkyrie, please try Daughter of Darkness, The Guardians, Loup Garou and Wicked Lucidity.

What can I do to help assure more books come out in this series?

Did you enjoy these titles and want to see more in the series? Take a moment to leave a review on the site you purchased them from. So often only negative reviews are left and these hurt sales, thus, making it hard for me to continue a series with low/no sell through. Also, help fight ebook piracy. When books are pirated it also means low sales and no sell through. That means I can't continue to work on a series that doesn't earn out. In the end, we all lose out.
