Heat Ratings for Romance Books

If you’re like me, you love a steamy romance novel. But sometimes it’s hard to know how hot a book is going to be before you start reading. That’s why I decided to put together a list of heat ratings and more for my books. Now you can pick your next read based on how much sweaty action you’re in the mood for!

1. Sweet – These books have minimal sexual content and focus mostly on building a strong emotional connection between the characters. Great for those who are new to romance novels or looking for something light-hearted.

2. Warm – This level of heat includes some physical intimacy, but it is still tender and romantic rather than graphic. Perfect for those looking for some gentle romance.

3. Steamy – Hot and heavy, these books tend to include more explicit sex scenes and lots of passionate moments between the characters. Some readers may find them too intense.

4. Spicy – These are the hottest of hot reads, with frequent and graphic sexual content as well as emotionally charged interactions between the characters. Not for the faint of heart!
