If you’re a fan of sci-fiction YA you’re going to love this entertaining and unique retelling of a Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale The Tinderbox. 
The story is fast-paced which I appreciated because I’m known to put a book down that drags and then forget to pick it up again. That wasn’t the case at all here. I found I couldn’t put The Tinderbox down. I was glued to my e-reader from the moment I opened it until the very end.
Mr. Phillips brought a level of wit, charm, detail, and relatability to the characters that brought them to life for me. He’s secured his place on my auto-buy list and I can’t wait to read his next book.
