Rain with a Chance of Deer
Grimm Cove® Series
The forecast: one hundred percent chance of trouble… and maybe love.
The first time I saw the giant stag, he ran me off the road on my way into Grimm Cove to start a job at the university that I never even applied for.
The second time, the stag tore through the holiday decorations in the town square—the ones I’d just spent all evening helping put up.
The third time, I spotted him outside my rental cabin in the dead of night. But when I went out for a closer look, the deer was gone. Instead, I got an eyeful of a very hot, very naked man.
Don’t get me wrong, the eyeful of the hot guy, Gilbert, was no hardship. Neither was getting snowed in with him and indulging in a weekend of spicy good times, but something is off in Grimm Cove.
I’ve spent most of my life studying weather and patterns. There is logic and comfort in data. Yet there is nothing logical about the town of Grimm Cove.
The weather isn’t just unpredictable, it’s getting dangerous.
Then there’s a woman with a pet squirrel who insists I have a fated mate who can shapeshift into a stag.
Yes, that stag.
And I can’t shake the feeling that Gilbert is in danger.
Is it me?
Am I the problem, or has the entire town of Grimm Cove been hitting the eggnog a bit too hard this holiday season?
